tournament to be held at Comic Book Craze on Saturday, September 6th. Registration
starts at 4:00p.m. with deckbuilding beginning at 5:00p.m. sharp! Email
Professor Spotter with your vote as
to whether the tournament should be straight Sealed Pack or a Booster Draft!

- August 11th - Drake's Place, Del City, OK
- August 18th - Insanity Cards & Games, Mesquite, TX
- August 26th - Y2Komics, Ft. Worth, TX

Nintendo has announced the next Pokémon expansion set! Diamond & Pearl - Mysterious
Treasures is scheduled to be available for sale at retail locations on August 22nd.

Pokémon USA, Inc. (PUI) has announced the new Modified format for the 2007-2008 tournament
season! In a rather unexpected move, PUI has retired an unprecedented FIVE sets from
Modified play. Sets to be retired are EX:Deoxys, EX:Emerald, EX:Unseen Forces,
EX:Delta Species, and EX:Legend Maker. Also being retired are the Pokémon Organized
Play (POP) sets 2 and 3, and the EX:Trainer Kit 2. The oldest allowed set in Modified
format starting September 1st, 2007, will be EX:Holon Phantoms. More information is

Yet another Save The Date announcement! September 28th-30th, 2007, our friends at
Comic Book Craze are hosting G-Kon 2
at the
Arlington Convention Center. Your friendly professors here at DFWPokémon.com are in the planning
stages for providing a plethora of pulse-pounding Pokémon TCG events! Check it out!

Join us on Saturday, March 17th at Comic Book Craze for a special EX:Power Keepers Sealed Pack Tournament. Entry fee is $20.00. Each person receives 6 booster packs of EX:Power Keepers to build a 40-card deck. Basic energies will be provided. At the completion of the tournament, each player will receive two more booster packs. But wait, it gets even better!
For each player entered, two additional booster packs will be placed into the prize pool. Total prize depth will depend on attendance, but the top 4 places in each age group are guaranteed. But that's not all. . .
Door prizes, and a gift for all NEW players!
Registration will start at 3:00 p.m. with play beginning at 4:00 p.m. Don't be
